B2S Final

Throughout February 2024, we are running a ‘Back to School’ poster competition. The competition is for Year 1 through 8, and is kindly supported by Friends of the Foundation Gold Partner Pulse Energy.

The poster theme is ‘common asthma triggers’, and aims to reduce asthma flare-ups by building awareness for both students and teachers. Entries using any kind of physical media are welcome, some of our favourites are collage, paintings, and drawings!

Common asthma triggers include;

  • Pet dander (animal fur)
  • Pollen
  • Colds and flu
  • Cold air
  • Smoke
  • Temperature
  • Dust

The common asthma triggers page on our website details each of these triggers, and how they might affect you.

See more workplace asthma triggers here, and home environment triggers here.

Pulse Energy will donate $1000 to the winning entrant’s school, with the school identifying where the prize will be best spent - whether for sports equipment, art supplies, library books, or a new outdoor project! The school will also receive a live asthma education show with Sailor the Pufferfish.

We can't wait to see your creations! Submit your entry here
