The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ is excited to team up with our Friends of the Foundation partner Showerdome® to give away two Showerdomes, including professional installation to our community.
A Showerdome is a clear acrylic dome that fits over your shower to stop steam from forming in the first place. That means no more condensation, no foggy mirrors, and less moisture in your bathroom - creating a warmer, drier, and healthier home.
This is especially important for people with asthma and other respiratory conditions, as excess moisture can lead to mould and mildew, common triggers for breathing issues.

Terms and Conditions
Campaign Period
- The promotion runs from 12:01am NZST on June 3, 2025, to 11:59pm NZST on June 10, 2025.
Eligibility
- Entry is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are residents of New Zealand.
- Employees and immediate families of Showerdome, the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ, and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
- Participants must respond to the campaign question: “How do you keep your bathroom warm and dry?” via the designated form.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- By submitting an entry, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Prize Details
- Prize: Two (2) seperate Showerdome’s with standard installation, donated by Showerdome.
- Two winners will be drawn, each receiving a Showerdome + Installation.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other items and is non-transferable.
Installation Conditions
Installation is subject to:
- Pre-inspection to confirm suitable sizing and fit.
- Eligible shower types only:
- Not suitable for: Showers with rainhead fittings, shower-over-bath setups with no closing doors, showers exceeding 1200mm in size
Location restrictions:
- Rural installations may be excluded due to high travel costs.
- The winner must reside in a location where Showerdome can reasonably access for standard installation.
- If the winner is renting, they must obtain written approval from the property owner before installation can proceed.
Winner Selection and Notification
- Two winners will be drawn at random after the campaign closes.
- The winners will be notified by June 15, 2025 via the email address provided.
- If the winners do not respond within five business days, the prize may be forfeited and new winners drawn.
Publicity and Promotion
By entering, the winner agrees to:
- Be photographed and/or filmed during prize fulfilment (if applicable).
- Allow their name, photo, and city/town of residence to be used by Showerdome and the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ for promotional purposes across websites, email newsletters, social media, and PR channels — without further compensation.
Use of Personal Information
- Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winner.
- By entering, participants consent to their information being shared with the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ, Showerdome and its related companies for promotional communications related to healthy homes and indoor air quality.
General Conditions
- By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Showerdome and the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ reserve the right to verify entries, disqualify any entrant for tampering or non-compliance, and cancel or amend the promotion if necessary.
- The promoters are not responsible for technical failures, lost entries, or circumstances beyond their control.
