For kids

We received nearly 1300 entries for our Balloon Day colouring competition this year and, again, the standard of the entries was high. We were delighted with the creativity and hard work of the children who entered, so thanks everyone! The winners in each category will be sent $100 Whitcoulls vouchers and win $500 worth of library books for their school, courtesy Scholastic New Zealand Ltd. The Runners Up will be sent $50 Whitcoulls vouchers.

The winners and runners up from the 2010 Balloon Day colouring competition are as follows:

9-12 years old category: Winner, Solomon Baldock Dunedin, Runner Up, Alex Pickering, Christchurch.

5-8 years old category: Winner, Hannah Mudgway, Cambridge, Runner Up Tom Bigley, Napier.

4 and under category: Winner, Hannah Naudts, Auckland, Runner Up, Della Malcolm, Te Awamutu.
