Downia also kindly helps the Asthma Foundation with many gift items for our events.

We are extremely thankful for the ongoing and long term relationship with AFM Downia, which produce and manufacture feather and down duvet and inners and pillows both here and in Australia.

Downia cambric duvet cases have been shown to have such a tight weave through which dust mites cannot pass. Dust mites can pose a significant problem for many people with asthma and there is some research showing that synthetic duvets may actually worsen children's asthma.

Downia has asthma awareness messages printed on the packaging of some of their products both here and for our cousins across the ditch in Australia – asthma is a big health issue over there too - and their support helps to provide much needed funds for our programmes.
