The Huffers and Puffers Group meets weekly for people with COPD, asthma or heart conditions, who have low level exercise ability. The group is run by a physiotherapist and participants are monitored by our medical outreach team and Northland Asthma Society nurses.
Join us 2-3pm every Thursday at the Kensington Fitness Centre in Western Hill Drive, Whangarei.

A very active support group for people with COPD, Asthma and Bronchiectasis called Magic meets in South Auckland at the Manurewa Cosmpoliton Club, Alfiston Road in Manurewa on the last Wednesday of each month 10:15am - 12pm. Asthma & Respiratory Management BOP Inc offer an amazing 8 week pulmonary rehab group for people with respiratory conditions, supervised by a physiotherapist and nurse.
Full gym facilities and supervised exercise sessions are offered twice weekly as well as education sessions. Patients receive a free visit to their GP post program. Twice weekly maintenance classes follow for people who have participated in the program. Asthma Hawke's Bay runs a monthly COPD support group, which is held at the Napier Cosmopolitan Club on the Marine Parade in Napier on the last Wednesday of each month between 10.30am and 12pm. The session includes exercise and a guest speaker.
The Manawatu Breathe Easy Support Group is a lively well run group for adults with lung conditions such as asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema. Meet people with a common interest in managing their lung condition and join in with gentle exercises, social outings and key speakers. We aim to improve the quality of life of those suffering from respiratory diseases and to support their carers, partners and spouses through fellowship and knowledge. Come and join the brand new Horowhenua group that helps improve the quality of life for those suffering from respiratory diseases and supports carers, partners, and spouses through fellowship and knowledge. The group meets for morning tea and a meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month between 10.30 and 12.30 at the Presbyterian Church Hall in Oxford Street in Levin. The Kapiti area has enthusiastic and fun group meetings run by the Respiratory Support Group Kapiti. The group is an affiliate member of the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation.
